Warne machines its magazine extensions from 6061‑T6 aluminum billet and finishes them with a Type II hardcoat anodized coating, the same abrasion- and corrosion‑resistant process Warne uses across its scope mounting hardware. An ergonomic, finger‑grooved base makes it easier to strip the magazine from the gun in a real reload, not just add capacity, and a Torx‑head retention screw keeps it locked to the magazine's baseplate through recoil. Built to the same engineering standard Warne applies to mounts that have to hold zero under recoil -⁠- just applied here to holding a few extra rounds securely instead.
