The factory AR trigger guard is a known pinch point, especially with gloves. Magpul's MOE Enhanced Trigger Guard (MAG1186) is a reinforced‑polymer drop‑in that fills the gap at the rear of the receiver and opens the opening for cold‑weather shooting. Current production uses set screws instead of a roll pin, so you are not driving a pin next to an aluminum trigger‑guard ear that is easy to break. Hardware is included. Magpul lists it for AR‑15/​M4 and notes most 7.62 AR platforms as well, with possible fitting. The black version carries NSN 1005‑01‑596‑9300. Made in the USA.
