Ruger's factory LCP II magazine is built from blued stainless steel with side witness holes for a genuine at‑a‑glance round count, available in a standard 6‑round configuration or a 7‑round extended version with a polymer grip extension for better purchase with larger hands. A separate 10‑round magazine is built specifically for the .22 LR LCP II variant and is not interchangeable with the .380 ACP magazines -- two genuinely different parts, not one magazine stretched across calibers. The factory‑spec magazine built to the exact tolerances the LCP II's compact frame actually needs.
