Taurus | TX22 Gen 2 | 22 LR | Black

The TX22 Gen 2 built its reputation on making a .22 LR pistol that genuinely feels and shoots like a full‑size centerfire trainer, with a 4.6‑inch threaded barrel, hard‑anodized aluminum slide, and the Taurus Performance Trigger System giving a real, crisp break most rimfire pistols don't offer. Slide lightening cuts and a lightweight polymer frame keep it down to 17.3 ounces, and three separate safety systems (striker block, trigger safety, manual thumb safety) back genuine everyday‑carry‑grade safety engineering, not just a rimfire plinker's minimal hardware. Ambidextrous controls and a reversible magazine release round out a pistol built for real training value, not just cheap range time.
