Description

The Trijicon RMR Dual Illuminated is the battery-free version of Trijicon's popular Ruggedized Miniature Reflex sight, using the same tritium-plus-fiber-optic illumination as their ACOGs instead of an LED and battery. Tritium keeps the dot visible in total darkness (Trijicon warranties the lamp for 15 years), while the fiber optic automatically brightens the dot in daylight as ambient light increases. It's a genuinely different tradeoff than the standard battery-powered RMR: no battery to replace or die at the wrong moment, at the cost of not being able to manually dim the dot.
