FN's factory SCAR 17S magazine is stamped steel with a matte black or FDE corrosion‑resistant finish, holding a genuine 20 rounds of .308 Win/7.62 NATO and built to the exact tolerances of the SCAR 17S, SCAR 20S, and Mk 17‑pattern rifles. A heat‑treated chrome silicon wire spring and low‑friction anti‑tilt polymer follower back reliable feeding under real high‑stress use, at just 8.6 ounces empty.
