Springfield Armory | 1911 DS Prodigy Magazine | 9mm | Black

The 1911 DS Prodigy's magazine is machined from 410 stainless steel with an anti‑tilt polymer follower, holding a genuine 15 rounds in the compact frame or 17 in full‑size -- real double‑stack capacity on a 1911‑pattern gun, not the traditional single‑stack's 7 or 8 rounds. Side‑facing witness holes and finger grooves make round counts and extraction genuinely easier under stress, and the magazines are cross‑compatible with Staccato 2011‑platform pistols. Extended 20- and 26‑round versions push capacity even further for range use or a duty‑oriented setup.
