FN | Five-Seven Ammo | 5.7 x 28mm

FN's SS197SR sporting round loads a 40‑grain Hornady V‑Max polymer‑tip bullet in 5.7x28mm, engineered specifically for rapid expansion and reduced ricochet risk at a genuine 2,034 fps muzzle velocity -- real, verifiable ballistics from the company that designed the cartridge itself. A blue‑tipped bullet makes it easy to visually distinguish from FN's other 5.7 loads, and it's built for target shooting, competition, or small‑game hunting rather than duty use. The round most Five‑seveN and 5.7‑chambered pistol owners reach for when they want genuine expansion rather than a full‑metal‑jacket target load.
