Proof Research built their reputation on carbon fiber barrels that shoot as accurately as steel at a fraction of the weight, and the Elevation MTR 2.0 is that philosophy applied to a full mountain hunting rifle. It's built to be carried for miles without complaint and still deliver the precision you need when the shot finally comes. This is a rifle for hunters who count ounces because they've felt what the extra weight costs on the tenth mile.
