The American Patrol Gen II packs a cold hammer‑forged, threaded bull barrel and Ruger's Power Bedding system into a compact 37.35‑inch, 6.6‑pound rifle built for fast handling rather than bench‑rest sitting. A machined alloy steel action, three‑lug bolt, and the user‑adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger (3‑5 pounds) carry over the same engineering that's made the American Rifle line a genuine value leader, and a factory‑installed one‑piece Picatinny rail means it's optics‑ready straight out of the box. Graphite Black Cerakote and a splatter‑finish adjustable stock round out a rifle built specifically for shooters who need a shorter, handier package without giving up real accuracy.
