Ruger's Custom Shop built the 10/22 Competition specifically for the rimfire competition circuit, starting with a CNC‑machined 6061‑T6511 aluminum receiver carrying an integral 30 MOA Picatinny rail and a heat‑treated, nitrided match bolt for a genuinely tight, smooth action. The 16‑1/8‑inch fluted, cold hammer‑forged bull barrel is threaded 1/2‑28 for the included muzzle brake, a fully adjustable cheek rest dials in comb height for consistent optic alignment, and the BX‑Trigger breaks crisp at 2.5 to 3 pounds with minimal overtravel. A second bedding lug and an exclusive second barrel locator free‑float the barrel for real, repeatable precision -- backed by a Ruger Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, not just a factory rifle with extra parts bolted on.
