Ruger | Bearcat | 22 LR | Blue

Introduced in 1958 and based on classic mid‑19th‑century Remington single‑actions, the Bearcat has stayed a genuinely popular compact .22 revolver for hikers and campers who want a real 'kit gun' rather than a full‑size sidearm. It fires .22 LR, .22 Long, .22 Short, and (in New Bearcat form) .22 WMR from a 6‑round cylinder, with a cold hammer‑forged barrel backing up real long‑term accuracy despite its small size. Simple, compact, and genuinely light at around 24 ounces -- a revolver built around a job description that hasn't changed since Ruger first built it.
