Ruger's factory SR1911 magazine is laser‑welded stainless steel with a corrosion‑resistant polished finish, paired with a high‑tensile steel spring and stainless follower built to the exact tolerances of the SR1911's action rather than a generic 1911‑pattern fit. Numbered witness holes give a genuine at‑a‑glance round count, and a removable baseplate makes cleaning simple. Available in 7‑round flush‑fit and 8‑round configurations across .45 ACP, 10mm, and 9mm chamberings -- the factory magazine built specifically around the pistol it feeds.
