Shipping & Compliance
- This item is a firearm under federal law and must ship to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). It transfers like any other firearm, with an ATF Form 4473 and a background check through the FFL, where state and local law allow. Some states ban or restrict this item. Buyers are responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the purchase, transfer, possession, and transport of this item.
- Magazine capacity is restricted in certain states. We do not ship this item to states where its capacity exceeds the legal limit -- affected orders are blocked automatically at checkout.
The MR556 A4 SBR brings HK's short‑stroke gas piston system -- the same one that keeps hot carbon fouling out of the action on the full‑length MR556 -- to a shorter, NFA‑regulated barrel length for genuinely more compact handling in close quarters. A cold hammer‑forged barrel, adjustable gas regulator, and free‑float M‑LOK handguard with fully ambidextrous controls carry over unchanged from the rifle‑length A4. Real HK416‑pattern engineering scaled down to an SBR footprint, not a pistol‑braced compromise.
