The X‑Bolt 2 carries Browning's DLX trigger -- a 3‑lever design with genuinely zero creep, zero take‑up, and zero overtravel, factory‑set at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3 -- through a free‑floated, glass‑bedded barrel for real, repeatable accuracy. The X‑Lock scope‑mounting system secures each base with four screws instead of the traditional two, for a genuinely more rigid, precisely aligned optic mount, and a 60‑degree bolt lift with a radially fluted, three‑lug bolt keeps cycling smooth without needing to lower your head off the stock. The Western Hunt Special is built specifically for the wide‑open, long‑range shots western big‑game hunting actually presents -- typically pairing a longer, heavier‑contour barrel with Browning's camo or Cerakote treatment and the same free‑floated, glass‑bedded accuracy the rest of the X‑Bolt 2 line is built around.
