The ROMEO-M17 is SIG SAUER's MIL-SPEC pistol red dot, built specifically around the M17/M18 -- the same sight adopted for the U.S. military's official sidearm program. It uses SIG's proprietary SIG-LOC mounting interface, which only fits SIG M17/M18-pattern pistols rather than a universal footprint. A fully sealed 7075 aluminum housing, a low-deck-height 2 MOA dot/32 MOA circle reticle, and a minimum 50,000-hour runtime on a single CR2032 make it a genuinely duty-grade sight, not a civilian red dot repurposed for the role.
