The Franklin Armory Binary Firing System GEN 3 (BFSIII) is a 3‑position trigger. Position 1: Safe, will not fire. Position 2: Semi, fires 1 round per pull. Position 3: Binary, fires 1 round on pull and 1 round on release. The release round can be canceled by moving the patented selector out of Binary mode while holding the trigger back. The Binary AR‑Elite includes interchangeable curved and straight flat‑faced trigger bows. Trigger pull 4.5 pounds, plus or minus 0.5 pound. Positive reset on the release phase. Enhanced buffer springs. Trigger pin size .154 inch. Works in most AR platforms and calibers including 5.56 NATO, .308 Winchester, .300 BLK, 9mm, and rimfire. Compatible with most bolt carrier groups. Not for 80 percent, carbon, or polymer lowers except American Tactical Alpha Maxx polymer receivers. Franklin item 00‑50631‑BLK.
