The SCAR Heavy NRCH Kit converts a SCAR 17S to the newer non‑reciprocating charging handle configuration -- the same real improvement (a handle that no longer strikes a supported hand during fast strings of fire) FN built into the SCAR 16S NRCH, available as a kit for existing SCAR Heavy owners rather than requiring a whole new rifle purchase.
