The ROMEO-X Enclosed Pro is SIG SAUER's fully enclosed pistol red dot, built around the same sealed-housing approach pioneered on the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17. A 7075 aluminum housing and aspherical lens keep the dot distortion-free, and the enclosed design means no exposed emitter to get knocked out of alignment or fouled by debris -- a real advantage for a carry or duty gun over an open-emitter reflex sight. The side-load battery is rated for roughly 20,000 hours of runtime, and the low deck height still co-witnesses with standard-height iron sights.
