The Buckmasters 1500 is SIG SAUER's companion rangefinder to the Buckmasters riflescope line, sharing the same value-focused, Jackie Bushman-developed design. A red illuminated display stays readable in low light, and a dedicated Buckmasters Mode uses 8 onboard ballistic groups to tell the hunter which holdover dot on a paired Buckmasters BDC reticle to use at the ranged distance, rather than just reporting yardage alone.
